Covid-19 has added to the existing challenges of preparing for 4IR. Education leaders must ensure the physical and emotional well-being of teachers and students.
     Covid-19 has fast-tracked 4IR, forcing education to go online, almost 100% globally.
Social distancing and sanitising
Education leaders must set up their schools and facilities in line with Covid-19 restrictions. They must encourage students and teachers to practice social distancing and sanitising.

This may mean smaller class sizes, additional teachers, and/or alternative teaching models, such as blended education.

Emotional welI­ being of students and teachers
Leaders must also ensure not only students, but teachers as well receive adequate support for their mental well-being to cope with the extreme stress.
