26 Marketing alumni breakfast On 23 September 2022, the Department of Marketing Management hosted a marketing alumni breakfast at the Auckland Park Country Club. The alumni who were present were warmly welcomed by Prof. Marius Wait, HOD in the Marketing Department; and Nontokozo Mokoena, Marketing Manager at SCiiS, facilitated event. 2021 Miss Earth, Nompumelelo Maduna, who is a marketing alumnus and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Marketing at UJ ,gave a morning talk. She is a social media specialist by profession and a personal branding coach who is passionate about personal growth and women’s empowerment. She has a great passion for sustainability, and is constantly encouraging others to be mindful of any actions that might harm the environment. The day was not only fun-filled but also insightful, as marketing alumni got to share and engage with each other; we were left in awe of the fantastic work they do and the knowledge that they have gained. We are looking forward to many more marketing alumni gatherings.
