Tebogo Makhubela
Dr Tebogo Makhubela is a senior lecturer in the Department
of Geology, Faculty of Science, at the University of Johannesburg. He currently teaches Field Techniques at first year, Environmental Geology at second year and Environmental Isotope Geochemistry at the honours level. In addition, he supervises honours, masters and doctoral research projects
in the field of Earth surface geochemistry at the University of Johannesburg and the Wits Centre for the Exploration of the Deep Human Journey.
Trishya Owen-Smith
Dr Trishya Owen-Smith is a lecturer in the Department of Geology at the University of Johannesburg. She currently teaches optical mineralogy to the first-year students and Environmental Isotope Geochemistry at the honours level. Her own research, and that of her postdoctoral students, lies in the field of igneous petrology and centres on magma processes, mantle dynamics and links to early Earth evolution.
