Forthcoming Publications • Dr Lisa Otto has two book chapters scheduled for early 2022 – one on South Africa’s maritime diplomacy in the SA Foreign Policy Review and the other on transnational maritime crime in a Routledge handbook on maritime security. She also has a journal article on 4IR and diplomacy, co-authored with student Robyn Williams, due to appear in the first issue of The Thinker in 2022, which she and Ms Williams are guest editing. Further, she has also submitted an article on the maritime diplomacy of African SIDS to The Journal of the Indian Ocean Region and also the first draft of a book chapter on Indian maritime diplomacy in the African maritime domain for a book project by the African Navies Research Network. Dr Otto also signed a contract with Springer to produce follow up volume of the book that I edited that was published by them in 2020. This second volume will be co-edited by a colleague from Fern-Hagen University in Germany and will focus on the nexus between sustainability and security in the maritime domain. • Paul Mulindwa signed a contract with Routridge publishers for a 9-chapter edited volume. The e-version of the volume is supposed to be out by end of December 2021. Paul has two book chapters scheduled for early 2022. This research will lead to the publication of a book in the coming academic year at Sarchi. • Prof CA Georghiou was requested to contribute a chapter on Postmodernism and Diplomacy for a Palgrave Handbook on Diplomacy to be published in 2022.
